PRIME STEEL INC. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
This warranty applies solely to Trailer Hitches, Drawbars, Receivers, Ball Mounts, Pintle Mounts and Tow Bars manufactured and sold by PRIME brand ( the “product” ).
- Warranty. Prime Steel Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser ("you") that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for your lifetime as long as you own the product. Prime Steel, Inc. makes no other warranties. If the product does not comply with the Warranty, Prime Steel, Inc. will replace the product without charge and within a reasonable time or, at Prime Steel, Inc. option, otherwise refund the purchase price.
- Limitations on the Warranty. The Warranty does not cover the following: (a) normal wear and tear; (b) service or labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any product; (c) the finish on the product; (d) a product that has been damaged through abuse, neglect, misuse or as a result of any accident or in any other manner; (e) a product which is misapplied, overloaded, or improperly installed; and (f) a product altered in any manner by anyone other than Prime Steel, Inc. Prime Steel, Inc. does not authorize any person to create any other condition or Liability in connection with the product. Any express warranty or remedy not provided in this Warranty is excluded and disclaimed.
- Obligations of Purchaser. To obtain the benefits of the Warranty, you must promptly present the defective product and proof of purchase to Prime Steel Inc., through any of its branches, factories, or authorized dealers listed in local directories. Any returned product that is replaced or refunded becomes the property of Prime Steel, Inc.
- Legal Rights. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights which vary from state to state. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON ANY product SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF RETAIL PURCHASE BY you. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
- Remedy Limits. Replacement of the product or refund in the manner provided above is your exclusive remedy and shall constitute fulfilment of all liabilities of Prime Steel, Inc. to you whether based on contract or otherwise. Prime Steel, Inc. shall not be liable or assume responsibility for the loss of the use of any vehicle, loss of time, rental of vehicles, loss or damage to personal property, expenses such as gasoline, telephone, lodging, or towing, or any other incidental or consequential damages incurred as a result of the use or ownership of any product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any of the above remedy limitations shall be inoperative to the extent they are not permitted by applicable state law.
PRIME STEEL, INC. LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
This warranty applies solely to hitch accessories and vehicle accessories manufactured and sod by Prime Steel, Inc. and sold under the Prime brand which are not specifically covered by other Prime Steels, Inc. warranties (the "product").
- Warranty and Warranty Period. Prime Steel, Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser ("you") that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for one year from the date of your retail purchase (the "Warranty"). Prime Steel Inc. makes no other warranties. If the product does not comply with the Warranty, Prime Steel, Inc. will replace the product without charge and within a reasonable time or, at Prime Steel, Inc. option, otherwise refund the purchase price.
- Limitations on the Warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to consider choosing the right Trailer Hitch Kit for his or her vehicle, considering the complete towing setup, including never exceeding the vehicle’s maximum towing capacity, as determined by the vehicle manufacturer. You hereby agree to hold harmless, release, waive and discharge PRIME from any and all claims, actions and judgements, including all costs of defence and attorney's fees incurred in defending claims in connection with weight capacity recommendations.
Furthermore, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PRIME, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all liabilities, claims, costs and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, that arise, directly or indirectly, out of or in connection with your use of this site or breach of the terms herein.
Shipping Details:
You must provide a street address for shipping. Your street address must accept both USPS and common carrier deliveries. Most items usually ship within 1-3 business days unless you choose rush order processing which will ship within 1 business day as per policy at checkout. If you are shipping to a different address other than your billing address, we may call to verify your order before shipping which may cause a delay. Some items may take longer to ship including vehicle specific items. We do offer Rush Order Processing (details available on checkout page) when utilizing Prime Steel checkout if you need your item shipped within 1 business day. Shipping methods apply to contiguous US only. We do not ship to APO or FPO. AK and HI shipping charges are higher. Please call for quote. We reserve the right to use the Carrier of our choice without notice or consent of buyer. We do not guarantee shipping times. All motor freight shipments (certain large items require Motor Freight Truck) must ship to a valid commercial address or a surcharge will apply. All other items can ship to a residential address. Items received via motor freight must be inspected at time of delivery and damages must be noted on BOL at time of delivery. All other claims for damaged goods must be made within 3 working days. Shipping insurance is highly recommended for items valued over $100. If insurance is not purchased your item's value may not be fully covered by the carrier.
Canada Shipping:
Shipments to Canada are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail, FedEx Express International Economy (2-3 day), FedEx Ground or UPS. In any case the brokerage fee will be not more than $10. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Tracking Your Order:
Most items we ship are stocked in our warehouse. Some items are shipped from remote warehouses and your order may arrive in separate packages from more than one location. Some vehicle specific items may take longer to ship and may arrive several days after your initial packages have been received. Tracking numbers, when available are sent to the email address you provided upon checkout usually within 48 hours of shipment. Sometimes tracking numbers end up in your spam box so please check there as well. In some instances your item may ship from a remote warehouse in which case your item may arrive before a tracking number becomes available to you.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, If you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason you may return it for a refund subject to the guidelines listed below. Please use the Contact Us link to request authorization.
The following are our Return Policy guidelines:
All returns must be unused and must be in their original packing. Original purchase receipts must accompany the returns.
All returns must be done within 30 days from date of purchase and must have Return Authorization Number (RMA) clearly marked on package and must ship to our HOUSTON , TX warehouse at 3701 YALE STREET , HOUSTON, TX 77018 unless otherwise instructed. All shipping charges are to be borne by the purchaser.
Items returned are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless defective. Defective items will be either repaired or replaced at our discretion. Shipping charges are not refunded. Vehicle & hitch application specific items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Once you submit your order it is processed and full filled via an automated system which begins immediately upon checkout, therefore changes and cancellations after checkout cannot be made. Any special requests or exceptions, if granted are subject to a 5%-25% ($5.00 min.) administrative fee. Returns will not be accepted without RMA number. Items refused at delivery will be subject to a 20% restocking fee as well as shipping charges both ways. Items returned to us which are deemed un-returnable, will be returned to the customer at the customers expense. Certain restrictions apply. This policy is effective from 01/01/2016
